Milwaukee department of city development is currently in the process of amending the zoning code to encourage housing choice and growth. The attached website includes some amazing info & ways to participate. The city is actively seeking feedback via "open houses" as well as an online survey.
What are your thoughts on this initiative?

I wish there was more of a focus on zoning changes in the survey. I'll have to look through the available materials and see what the current ideas for that are.
I want to better comment on this because I don't quite understand zone all that well. But from what I've heard from other people who have a better understanding, Milwaukee zoning codes need updates badly. So I believe this is a good thing.
Correct me if I'm wrong, people with more knowledge.
