[email protected] yes. Lock screen widgets went away after Android 7, I think. Now, 8(?) years later, we can introduce it as new feature!

I don't think this means what you think it means; music players have album art anyway but this is for now playing which is basically Shazam built into Pixel phone lock screen
Oh I see, so really the issue is that Google is bad at naming things. I instantly knew what Shazam was but never heard of now playing despite owning a pixel phone since the 1st one launched

Ridiculously good hardware from Apple BTW. Also such a difference between iPod classic (not planned obsolete) and later I phones (made for planned obsolete)
