Very true. They only care about money, money, money, not actual people.
Actual people are just what they feed to the money money money machine.
I think some of them really see AI as a way to take power and start corpo city states just like the ones in Snowcrash.
I can't wait for my future career as a pizza delivery boy with a racecar and allowed by police to ignore speed limits.
It's why they're all obsessed about going to space.
They can't, unless they go to Mars, which I'm all for.
So unless they want to do that, they better start playing ball with humanity if they care about their safety.
