Tiananmen
I visited Tiananmen Square and got to see the flag raising ceremony! The square is huge- around half a mile in length.
The exterior of the Great Hall of the People (The meeting place of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China – Essentially China’s equivalent of the Palace of Westminster)
The large obelisk shown is the Monument to the People’s Heroes – a large war memorial.
The flagpole with the flag fully raised – It appears they were conducting construction work on Tiananmen itself, as it’s covered in scaffolding.
