Pretty big for some of us. My brother has been talking about buying a minivan to build into an RV and I’ve been wondering about sleeping in my EV with HVAC, and towing a utility trailer with supplies to build out an RV site with all the comforts of home

What a bizarre, nonsensical waste of money. Can they at least postpone the auction until they have a superior replacement available? That should postpone it for a couple of decades.
The goal is to bankrupt the usps and sell it off to third parties.
That would presume they're actually interested in solutions.
It's just like they're looking at the list of things that most people think are good ideas (EV mail trucks, not selling the land our national parks are on, etc), and laughing about it while they cancel or reverse every single one.
They are literally bullies in every sense of the word and I'm fucking pissed.

Everyday has this "this must be the dumbest thing i ever heard" moment. And it just doesn't stop. :(
As much as I don't like that one head its the obvious use case. Lots of stop and go over a relatively smallish distance with a facility to recharge overnight.
The worst part is they have spent far more on charging infrastructure by now than vehicles.
