I live in the UK but I’m a Saints fan - started following the league in 2020 as a lockdown hobby and it stuck!
UK also, been a 49ers fan for a long time, since someone gave me a Montana shirt when I was a kid 😁
There’s a decent NFL following in the UK for sure - explains why they give us international games every year!
49ers is relatively unusual out here, though, I think? If I see anything NFL it’s usually Jags, Jets, Dolphins, or Bears.

Any thoughts on why the bears have such a big UK fanbase? It’s definitely bigger than you would expect compared to teams from bigger cities.
Chicago is the third largest city in the USA, after NYC and LA. Makes sense that they have some reach.
Maybe it's because Da '85 Bears team carries such weight along the legendary NFL teams? Probably the same as Marino's Dolphins in the 90s, Brady's Pats, or Montana's 49ers?

German here. I love game the game in general. I somewhat have sympathy for the Pats since it was the only team featuring >1 German players back in the day when I had the chance to see football more regularly (guess it was Vollmer)
