Immigration and Customs Enforcement could run out of money as soon as next month amid the Trump administration’s ramped-up efforts to deport unauthorized immigrants.
While there are more than three months left in the fiscal year, one estimate has found that the agency is already $1 billion over budget, according to Axios. Legislators in both parties have raised concerns about the speed at which the agency is spending its funds, which may prompt Donald Trump to seek additional funds from other agencies to support his deportation efforts.
Lawmakers have stated that the department responsible for ICE, the Department of Homeland Security, overseen by Secretary Kristi Noem, could violate the law if it continues to spend at current levels.

The interwar period Was nothing but economic failure for Germany, mostly because they had these gigantic sanctions and embargo and reparation payments to deal with. The Big Beautiful Bill is evidence enough alone of that. An absolutely horrific amount of cuts for programs that help people, ostensibly to "offset" the tax cuts for the rich, but it still balloons the deficit by $3.5 trillion.
There's a reason Trump is trying to pressure the Federal Reserve. The wealthy don't care if the dollar fails or goes into hyperinflation: they own assets which they can trade for currencies other than dollars. If the dollar spirals out of control for everyone else well "whoopsie doodles" they'll say.
There's a damn good reason the price of gold went up by ~50% in about five years. And looking at the state of the world right now... buying more of it is probably not a bad idea. The more unstable the world, the greater the attraction of gold. The price will keep rising.
