You know Republicans and especially Hawley are full of shit. Because State Republicans are literally trying to undo similar legislation that was overwhelmingly passed in 2024 by missourians. Hawley has no plans of actually pursuing this. It's literally bad faith lip service.

First, good, but this will likely only benefit red states. Most blue states and cities voted in higher minimum wages a long time ago.

If it actually goes through, I'll be happen that red state voters get a boon from the federal government their own state and city governments refused them up until now.
