Reddit privacy moderators recently censored this content over a day after it was posted. IMO the reason is suspicious.

Imagine being so fucking ignorant that you actually liked Brave even before finding out Thiel was involved. Eich's involvement was already enough (fuck that guy for inflicting Javascript on the world), let alone the fact that its business model is a protection racket wrapped in a crypto scam.

Brave always reeked of VC money with all the promotion they do. It genuinely turns me off whenever I see supposed "for the community" software with heavy marketing.

Thiel has his creepy hands everywhere nowadays. Doesn't surprise me the least bit.

but if you are more on focused on looks i think Zen is betterZen had some really concerning security/privacy concerns recently, which called into the question the competence of the creator, so I'd be wary of it.

Risk of the project introducing spyware is what I care about when it comes to trusting a software project. A bad person being a part of a project is small a red flag.
