I always see beekeeper outfits in white or off-whites. Is there a reason for this? Are there more colors people forgo for some reason?

There are other colors, but you typically see them in tans or neutral tones. Part of it is that it's a lot easier to see if there's a bee on you when your suit isn’t dark, lol. Another part is that you work in the bright sun, and a light suit helps keep you cool. Finally, some beeks say that bees are attracted to, or even angered by, black. Not sure if thats true, but either way a black suit sounds miserable!
