why is there something creepy about this image? by all means, it shouldn't be creepy, but i'm getting "don't hug me i'm scared" vibes. funny that such a simple, crude image can evoke that. i feel like it's someone's 18th birthday, but something is wrong.

The figure has no flowers, but the shadow does. It’s just on the border of what we see, but it’s noticeable

we're over-analyzing a simple sketch, but it's funny how much is odd. the right arm doesn't match the shadow - but the rest of the shadows are wrong, too. the character reminds me of someone, but it also looks like the artist just put treetops in hair. why isn't the car in the driveway? why are there 18 stars? why is the fireplace burning if there are still leaves on the trees?

edit - have you ever looked at the back of a dollar bill, maaaan?

Also, why are there shadows- is there a search light behind the figure(Mickey mouse?)?
