PlayStation Stars coming to a close as SIE evaluates new ways to evolve future Loyalty Program efforts

Did anyone here use it?

I am part of it, but never got anything from it, as I mostly buy 5-6 year old games, on deep sales, so never got enough points to get anything. I would've eventually saved enough, but then they started expiring points, so started to completely ignore it.

I registered when it released, but never really understood the purpose of the program. I still have not earned enough points for a $5 gift card. I was disappointed when they shut down Sony Rewards, but Stars is completely useless as far as I am concerned.

I've got £5 credit from it through points I've gained via my PS subscription. Never really seemed worth the effort beyond that!

I got a few £5 credits out of it, mainly by earning points for downloading and launching specific Plus titles most of which I probably wouldn't have downloaded - mainly downloading them and launching them from the app and then just deleting them.

I was planning on letting my Plus lapse when it us up in a few months anyway as I have never had interest in multiplayer and the "free" catalogue cycling out things has got to the point of annoying me too much.

I have downgraded to Essential. I get to play multiplayer once in a while if I want to, and since I am a patient gamer, the Monthly games over whole year are a good value (for now).

Apparently I never signed up for it, because I can’t for the life of me find it in the app anywhere. I don’t think I buy enough games to ever have really accumulated many points though.

You reached the end
