I give it a week
I think his ego will last a month before everyone calling him a wuss gets to him.
He'll read the headlines that everyone knows he came crawling and begging then make a stupid post at 3am saying the weak Chinese didn't say sorry and he'll raise it back up.
The purpose seems to have been to make money on the wall street swings and dips. They did. And he'll probably just do it again.
It seems so obvious.

They aren't even transferring it, that takes too much time, earning it, stealing it, lobbying congress for tax cuts and loopholes, etc.
Much better to go into the Wall Street casino, and create new money out of thin air. Better yet, create a worthless coin, that doesn't even exist, and tell your idiotic followers to buy it at a ridiculous price. Then make money on the increased value, as well as the exorbitant fees required to buy/sell it.
That is a transfer of wealth. It means the old plutocrats (big banks, oil, military, etc) who aren't in the know are forced to sell at the wrong time, while those in the know (tech bros and others who paid Trump millions for the privilege) will sell & buy at just the right time.

It is obvious, As predicted, the Tariff Pump & Dump continues. He announces tariffs, the stock market dips and rolls for a while, then he removes the tariffs, and the stock market leaps.
It's the ultimate insider trading scheme, in which the participants get to directly manipulate the market at will.

And all of trumps billionaire buddies made absolute bank at the expense of the middle class.
