Chipolo, an EU-based company, has Find My Device trackers for pre-order
Chipolo was mentioned in the Find My Device presentation during IO 23. Looking into them I found that they're based in Slovenia. That puts them firmly under EU privacy and general regulation. If you're in the market for such a device, this might not be a bad option. I'm currently using Tile but I pre-ordered Chipolo to try.

Think I'm going to hold off until the next Google hardware event, there are rumoured to be UWB trackers in the works

Yeah it's just the precision finding. I'm sure the Chipolo ones will be great though, I think the version they made compatible with Apple's Find My network had better Bluetooth range than the official Airtags

Same. I'll finally have some reasonable tracking for my bike that doesn't require GPS and mobile data plans. I live in a high-risk area for bike theft.
They're pretty cheap on ebay, new.
Not the Chipolo Point though, which is the model that uses the Android Find My Device network.
