She's five, will you give her some time? Jeez...

Anyone can be born gay, but fashion? That takes years to master!

I think they're pointing out how Target has done a complete about-face regarding LGTBQ representation since the new commander in cheeto.

My sister was saying to me that her 8yo said to her that she's gay, and my sis didn't knew how to react because she couldn't believe an 8yo would know if she's gay. I told her that didn't matter if she's gay or not, what matter if you support her or bot. If you accept her as gay, she's going to felt validated and would trust you as growing up, if you don't believe her and try to force heterosexuality in her she's going to hate you eventually, if not for that for any other reason.

What a fucking dumbass, I'm gay and wear dresses all the time

Plenty of kids already know if they are gay or not. In my home country, I have had classmates in elementary school who are openly gay. Some cultures find it awkward to talk about it to children, whereas in some, tolerance and acceptance to lgbt is part of culture. I probably don't need to mention about the concept and existence of third genders since the ancient times.

I've heard this before, and don't get it. I mean, sure, I'm a late bloomer, I was about 20 when I figured out my sexuality and even older when I figured out my gender. But people don't experience attraction before puberty, right? How do they know what groups of people they'll grow up to be attracted to?

Well, we all have crushes when we were kids, don't you agree?

Edit: sorry if I sound like I am trying to put words into your mouth. What I mean is that some people already figure out what their sexuality is and whom they feel attracted to at early age. To whom you feel crush to at early age is an indicator.

2

we have not all had crushes as kids, no. there was a very definite point where the flip in my brain switched and i started considering the concept at all, and that point was around the time of puberty.

Until then i was utterly confounded by all the other kids who insisted they were dating each other, especially since they barely even spent any time together lmao.

idk that one sounds like something a five year old really would say after someone tried to explain what gay means for the first time

85

or perhaps she heard her dad say that as a joke to someone and decided that she's going to do the same

40

Sure. That's cool and all. But have you ever considered how this is a clear sign that the daughter is being horribly mistreated? /s

8

Well then, individuality, because... Look, she has to be have... petunias.

But extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I require extraordinary evidence to believe that--checks thread again--a five year old had a tantrum about a dress in Target.
