I can think of "NO NEGATIVES" other than all the ones that come with being usian.

I have a problem describing the parties that presided over the lead up to the cost of living and healthcare crises as "good (enough)".
I'm old enough to remember when advocates predicted healthcare staffing shortages "in ten or twenty years" due to the austerity of the 1990s. We've cycled through governments of all stripes provincially and federally, and we still ended up here.
Sure, but don't let perfect be the enemy of better than that shit. We knew since David K. Foot Boom Bust and Echo that an aging demographic was going to strain healthcare.
I agree that Liberals and Conservatives are both too fond of privatization, cutting taxes and selling out. But I suspect we were always going to end up here regardless of party, even beyond the false dichotomy.
