My work from home / light gaming setup

I'm not a huge gamer anymore so I actually reduced my setup from 3 16:9 monitors to a single 21:9 monitor. I find myself more focused on the task I am doing when there isn't the distraction of so many open windows.

I recently got this new solid walnut tabletop which is much heavier than the old IKEA tabletop I had that could be pushed around.

Obligatory cat. 🐈

Acer Nitro XV340CK 34" QHD (3440 x 1440) IPS, 144Hz, 1ms VRB, HDR10 Technology

I am not into curved monitors quite yet so my requirements were a flat ips monitor that is 1440p and 144hz. This was really the only option at the time which was surprising. Might still be as everything is going curved.

ah yes, the ikea-"set a slab on two filing cabinets"-desk method. an exceptional way to go.

Uninspired for sure, but the tabletop is some pretty nice solid wood. Some day I'll find some better legs or drawers. 🫠
