Yep. I watched a behind the scenes look at how the special effects were done in the original and it was breakthrough stuff. This just looks like a motorcycle with lit up fancy wheels — not a light cycle at all.
I always get excited for new Tron announcements, too. But they never understand why the original is legendary. Replaced it all with sleek black and white/red lights.
