I like it, but my phone plus case (also 3d printed in tpu) is a bit less than 14mm thick, and your description on Printables says up to ~11mm. Would totally print it if you had a slightly thicker version for phones in cases.
I haven't tried it, it may still work with your phone. It may just not sit flush with the bottom of the stand. No guarantees though.
Could save some material to hollow out the top with some design. Would lower print time as well.
It wouldn't necessarily lower print time and it definitely wouldn't look as sleek. Also the material savings will be in the grams if there will be any, so I see nonpoint in it. But you are free to experiment and remix my model.
I'd only do it for aesthetics. You could do a cutout for logo, art, name or even a magnet mount charger. You might have weight issues with a charger.
Nice design overall. The space begs me to do something with it.
