It's my understanding that the smart dishwashers by Bosch still have all of the same offline features they've always had, but have additional cloud stuff. Like there should still be the basic 2 or 4 hour delay buttons that is typical, but erg the app you can set specific times?

Basically, they only found out after 4 hours of installing it and they desperately need a dishwasher, so they won't try to return it, but they were angry enough to write a blog post about it.

Okay, I understand your concern, but hear me out: your dishes can be extra-rinsed AND you can passively participate in DDOSs! You're practically a hacker! With very clean dishes!
