Using kitchen grade borosilicate and windows as ventilation and no access to nitrogen, is there a safe way I can performed an ASE at home?
Solvent + solute in a borosilicate tray on a hotplate while gradually increasing temperature maybe? While on a record player or something that spins.
ASE at home is pretty risky without proper safety equipment - most solvents are flammable/toxic and kitchen windows aren't adequate ventilation, plus you'd need pressure control which is dangeorus with DIY setups, so maybe look into safer alternatives like sonication (ultrasonic cleaner) or just extended cold extraction with occassional stirring.
