How to determine safe dosage of a homemade extract?

Looking to make a rosmary alcohol tincture to investigate the alleged serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and GABA A activity reported in mice.

Would a medicinal dose of fresh rosmary equate to 1 medicinal dose of alcohol extract or would the extract from 1 medicinal dose of fresh rosmary be a lot more potent? And if so, how do I determine how much is safe for human consumption?

Also, how would I determine the required ratio of 50-70% alcohol to distilled water? I'd like to have a tincture dosable in 1 drop.

Please don't self-experiment with homemade extracts targeting neurotransmitters - the jump from mouse studies to human application is HUGE and potentially dangerus without proper pharmacokinetic testing.

Can someone please give me legitimate criticism instead of downvoting? Yes, I'm an amateur, but it's based on peer-reviewed PubMed studies on the therapeutic potential of rosmary and it's terpenes and phytochemicals, not homeopathic bullshit, the medical science is there, I just don't have much organic chemistry experience.
