What have you done?!
I think it's just some "flexible splines" mod interaction. There was some very very short belt in there because I slapped the splitter on the belt directly instead of building the splitter first and then connecting belts to the splitter.
But I thought it looked funny :D

See, now you have to figure out exactly how you did that, cause the rest of us are already planning out how we can use this in our builds.
