Just a suggestion and not a criticizm, but since we're on an open sorce platform, could we promote such platforms, for example Nitter? It is much lighter and doesnt show any ads.

I don't think there is one - if Twitter flags something 18+ and need to verify your age, then you're out of luck without logging in. That's the problem with closed source single-owner social media.
Idk how yt-dlp/Invidious/Piped circumvent watching 18+ labeled content off of YouTube without logging in, but maybe Nitter will find a way one day.

A Mastodon link usually pops up in the comments shortly after the post goes live. You can see one here. I just wait for those.
