I'm not a winter camper , although I'd like to try it. But i'm itching to get back out there when it warms up a little

Winter is one of the best times for camping, nothing feels better than getting into a very-appropriate-for-the-cold rated sleeping bag after finding your way out into some real nature.
winter camping is amazing but definitely start with a 1-nighter close to home! the key is layering - good base layers and a sleeping bag rated at least 10° below what you expect. hot water bottle in the sleeping bag is a gamechanger too.
What kind of hammock do you use?
I wasn't actually hammock camping in that particular picture but i have a few times before. I think that is the first one I bought and i don't know that it has a brand name. Mostly just ones i've found on sale here and there.
A buddy of mine went on a multi day trip and asked me to watch the place and his pets.
He taught me some tarp camping stuff that I haven't had a chance to try..so I decided to make "camp" in his living room with a space heater fireplace and everything
