Went for a jog yesterday
I've been lifting weights consistently for a couple years and consider myself to be in good shape. It's time to come off the winter bulk and I figured that starting up jogging would be an easy way to improve my conditioning and start dropping some weight, so I went out for my first jog yesterday after work.
The experience was humbling, it was shocking. In my youth I was an avid runner but have been out of it for a long time, I could not believe how difficult it was running while carrying this extra weight! For anyone else going through the same thing, hang in there

It seems like the feed bottoms out after displaying 49 posts, where previously you could doom scroll continuously. Anyone else notice this happening? Feed is "All" sorted by "Hot"
Edit: Turned it off and on a few times and it seems to be working again

If you have decided to make your New Year's resolution about fitness, this post is for you.
Dr. Mike just dropped a great video on how to succeed in getting and staying in shape instead of crashing and burning like most resolutioners in the gym this January
But shittydwarf, how does it all work? Where do I start? The fitness wiki got you bro.
Tldr: Get on a beginner lifting program, stay consistent, make small adjustments to your life for the first three months and then come back and we'll talk about doing more / getting completely yoked. Don't bite off more than you can chew, but do get active
