Ms Sheinbaum says her governmental legal team is still assessing potential action against Google, and has joked that Mexico could rename the USA as 'Mexican America'.

Apple caved just a few days after Google. Move off of both of their services if you can. (Hint: you can. But it'll take effort, well worth it)
It sucks how pretty much every integral piece of tech and even social media comes from the US. Even the ones so important like archive.org and Wikipedia headquarters are in the US. Wish things weren't so concentrated in one region.
Mexico should completely switch to openstreetmap!
I think we should all start review-bombing every city and town on the coast around the norther half of the Gulf, since they've locked reviews on the gulf itself...
Then if they ban/lock those location reviews, move inland town by town. Be sure to mention you're down-rating because Google locked reviews for the Gulf of Mexico. Also call them Quislings and fascist apologists/collaborators in the review.
Find other locations within the U.S. with 'Mexico' or 'America'/'American' in their names and review or report as inaccurate suggesting the other nation's name. We could make this a sort of '/r/place' collaborative painting over the continental US...
.. and if they lock anyone's Google account for this, then the shit should really hit the fan.
They would just filter these reviews out, especially if u mention that reason. Not worth the time... I mean not even if they would leave them up.
A losing battle ultimately, I know. Ultimately moving off their services is the best way to demonstrate.
