The shop also had regular sprink bottles with the same cologne, but this bottle is shaped like a fuel can, so it looked manlier to me. It contains 80% alcohol, so it's also a disinfectant and an after-shave.

Yeah, that is mostly used for disinfection, the smell doesn't stay long.

Heirloom cologne. Nice.
I just use scented body soap. I smell nice to my partner, who gets very close, but not to the person sitting next to me. After a 1+h bus ride sitting next to a guy with way too much cologne, it's very important to me that I not offend the olfactory systems of others.
It's not so much the smell or the metallic taste, it's the burning sensation in the eyes that makes me wish some people would at least use a smaller bucket of the stuff in the morning.
I guess you could drink it, if you're adventurous enough.
