Migrate from Lemmy.ml elsewhere, how?
Hi all, I'd like to migrate from Lemmy.ml, what would be your most user friendly method to accomplish this? So far I could only find scarce instructions with Python scripts and I wish things were simpler. Thanks !

OP, I'll be locking this post as it violates rule 5.
Do you really need to transfer anything? Just sign up someplace else, maybe with the same username and continue posting. Keep the old account around and occasionally log in during the first weeks. But in my experience, old posts and comments don't get any engagement anyways, so you won't get any new things in your inbox after 2 weeks or so.
For your existing community subscriptions, try the "Export" and "Import" buttons in your settings. At the top right, behind your username: "Settings" and then there is a button to export everything. You should be able to import that file on your new instance.
And we don't have any karma here, or restrictions for new users to post. So it's not like on Reddit where you'd need your history and score.

I went this path: lemmy.ml -> feddit.nl -> sh.itjust.works
And I did this by simply creating new accounts
Alright, would you be fine with sharing what tool you used to migrate or did you start from scratch ?
I started from scratch. The only thing I wish I could take with me were the filters and blocks I'd set up in Voyager.

You shouldn't need a tool.
In your setting should be an option to export a json file, when you make a new one just upload that file.

U can export and import ur profile from settings. U will lose post and comment history tho.
