Democrats elect Minnesota's Ken Martin as DNC chair on first ballot

Members of the Democratic National Committee voted Saturday to make Minnesota DFL Chair Ken Martin their next party leader.
Martin beat out Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, along with a handful of other candidates, on the first ballot to clinch the title. He received 246.5 votes, more than the 50 percent plus one of the 448 voting members.

Could you explain why? We’re new to Minnesota so I’m not in any way familiar with the man.
Fairly certain he's DNC old guard. As in, been around for HRC loss, Biden win, and Harris loss. Basically no shake up, no "oh shoot we messed up".
Yeah. Basically, he'll push back on every good idea until he can't anymore and it succeeds, and then take credit for it. He's an establishment capital-L Liberal that doesn't care about the working class or wealth inequality or anything of the sort.
