The ship has a displacement of approximately 5,000 tons and includes stealth technology, combat command systems and firepower integration, “significantly enhancing overall performance,” the navy said.

This type of multi-capable ship will become vital in the future as they don't require as much manpower as carrier groups. Manpower will become an important resource in the upcoming future as there will be less capable humans that is available for the work.
