Same thing happens in Chrome also. I hope upcoming native app fixes it.

Firefox is my main browser, but the PWA experience isn't great. I've tried Firefox, Chrome, Hermit, and Samsung Internet. So far, the best experience is with Samsung's browser.

Install the native app then. There’s one for Android and one for iOS.
