I had a hazy memory of The Ten Commandments seeming to be on all day long when I was a child. I've just seen it's on Channel 4 for 4 and a half hours(!) I feel vindicated.
I am, however, watching Death on the Nile on bbc 2

Whew, that's almost 25 minutes per commandment!
Both are cracking films, but I'd be more likely to watch Death on the Nile. Wait, depends which version. Peter Ustinov for the win!

Mad, I was just watching the Ten Commandments and considered watching Death on the Nile! But I chose the Ten Commandments as both were already a good way through and thought I could pick up the story since it's well known anyway.
It was also on last year as well, all day
Death on the Nile was good! I recommend it
