I've decided to open this community on lemmy.world, as the vegantheoryclub.org instance hasn't replied to my registration request in a week.
Gonna get everything set up and pre-write some checkin-templates. If anyone wants to mod or suggest an Icon/Background image for the community, feel free to comment here!

Start off by telling us what Veganuary is!
Been vegan off and on since 2004...and I've never heard of it.

Weird that you haven't heard about it, it's been a thing for 10 Years. It's actually already gotten kinda corporate, a lot of stores and cafeterias around here promote it and specifically cater to Vegans in January
