Tang cookies, 1969
Mix tang powder, sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil in a bowl. In another bowl sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine wet and dry mixtures.
Scoop into balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
There are variations of the recipe that add ~1-1/2 cups of vanilla baking chips to create a creamsicle cookie. I personally would try adding 1 tsp vanilla extract.
It should be a crime to post a video of a recipe without a written copy. 😑
I’m intrigued enough to give them a taste but not intrigued enough to actually make them.
Is Tang still sold?
Pretty sure it is. It’s been a while but I used to really enjoy a Tangueray (Tanqueray & Tang ala Gin & Juice, if it wasn’t obvious)
