Instead, you made a conscious effort to compose that comment you call criticism solely so you can shit on somebody for trying to share something that they spent their time and effort on making and sharing with us. I don't like it either, but you putting "comics" in quotes like that, implying that it isn't a comic when it clearly qualifies as a comic, is worse than the dumb joke.

I see a lot of low-effort, unfunny, uninspired “comics” here but never saw one that shook a tip jar at me afterwords. A new low to be sure.

You could argue that it's an advertisement for the creator's tip jar rather than a comic strip, though I think it's both
It's not even pretending to be based off an idea the creator had, as it says it's inspired by a tweet at the bottom.
Major kudos for sourcing your inspiration, but that makes this feel even more like a "will arrange images for tips" deal.
