Ignoramus has two houses needs NAS for both

Hi, I'm a barely computer literate person who has a myCloud TimeMachine backup for my computers at one of my houses and I need to have such a network backup for my computers at my other house. As you can tell from this, I barely know what I'm doing and thus soliciting advice from the community as to what would be the best way I could back up my laptop when I am at either of my houses. And yes, I know how fucking lucky I am to have two houses. The second one is for our adultson who is living in it while working in the area.

I say right at the top of my post that I’m a computer ignoramus. When people tell you who they are, you should believe them.

You can edit that. Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question. Well maybe I do. You're the exact customer that they built drop-box, Microsoft OneDrive, Google shared files, and those types of services for. Look into drop box. It used to be decent, and easy to set up.

Edit: why don't you just use that MyCloud service at the second house?
