Hmmm. Sounds potentially promising hearing it won't be gacha but how are they monetizing it then? Unless they're just using this as an ad or a hook to convert FFXIV mobile players to the main game, basically a glorified demo lol
Possibly playing as a bonus to being subscribed, or a higher/different subscription tier to include or only play mobile.
That's a good point, I could definitely see them pulling something like what they do with the companion app
