Figured it out. I was disabling crashlytics but the rest of Firebase was still being initialized. I will fix this issue in the next release.
I just rolled out v1.46.0 which has a fix for this. Can you double check on your end that this is fixed? Thank you!
Ooops ,forgot to ping you to let you know. Yeap, no connection to firebase anymore!
