Ran a few miles with my new shoes and my god, were they amazing. It felt like cheating. Like I was weightless and just flying. I will try to increase the distance this weekend, but it's the best I've felt about running in a long time. The shoes weren't cheap but they were worth it!
I'm about due for some new shoes. What did you go with?
Brooks Ghost Max 2s. They are not cheap though. I paid $160. They are my first pair of Brooks, and I really like them so far.

They are Brooks Ghost Max 2s. They are expensive. I paid $160. I've never spent this much on running shoes before. I was hesitant but when I put them on at the store and walked around, I was sold.
Just did 25k; the longest run of my life. Stoked!
Morning so. Injury free (so far) and waiting to start my Parkrun. I've been hesitant about these for a long time because I didn't think I liked running in a group. Turns out I like running in a group.
