None. They aren't funny and clutter up feeds. I block every meme and related community I come across so I can more easily find actual meaningful content.

I'll never understand why meme, ai, and crypto all have a shitton of subs explicitly for them, and people still think it's a good idea to post them everywhere else too.

Wow, would not have guessed so much dislike for the memes, but to each their own.

Yep, I've had to stop browsing through All because it's just full of shite memes, shame as I was finding new communities here and there between all the guff

You can block the meme communities and they don't show on All. There are only a handful. Block them and the content posting bots and your feed looks much better.

Oh my god are you being serious this is the funniest fucking comment I have ever seen

I don't care for most memes (usually the joke itself is just that you referenced something well-known) because they are no longer clever after the first couple times. However I don't think the joke you posted is technically a meme.

Also, that joke was hilarious.

None at all. I blocked all meme communities from my all feed and have not subscribed to any.

I really like surreal memes and anti jokes. !internetfuneral is one of my new favorites. I’m not a big fan of political memes cause they just remind me of the real world and stress me out

man there’s some salty people in here, downvoting everyone who dares to like memes

![email protected] (: search for that if the link doesn’t work and it should come up. links can get really weird between instances

Thx, I keep forgetting kbin’s default search is local only

One of the first things I did when joining kbin was start blocking many of the meme communities. It's just not for me. Same reason I deleted my Facebook all those years ago. The ONE exception is LOTRmemes because come on

actual memes which I understand is a bit much to ask when a whole generation has grown up with the meme that image macros are what meme refers to.

tl;dr: get off my lawn

I am old enough that the meme transition from specific pictures/formats to image macros confused me, but just young enough to love it lol

I like the one where it's a screenshot of someone tweeting some scientists saw a rat and thought ima put this beast in a situation. Then it's got the rat asking a scientist why do you always give me your toughest situations and the scientist replies because you are my best beast.

I really miss the bizarre memes from 2018. Like E

Also like duck roll, or the lulwut pear.

6

I like them when they are actually amusing. Problem is that's maybe one in ten so it's not worth browsing them. If someone posts one and it's actually good, no problem.

3

I can tell I'm in the minority here but I love almost all memes (including this one), and puns! - Except memes that are overly divisive and serious at the same time

3

I like the kind with 90's style fonts in bright colors like they were made with Paint. The more nostalgic, the better.
