The Chicago Marathon is now the site of the existing men’s and women’s marathon world records. Kelvin Kiptum set the men’s mark, 2:00:35, in Chicago in 2023.

that's insane stamina. i can't even run one sub 5 mile lol
Frustratingly the article mixes up kilometres and miles but didn't give the average pace in KM.
She'd have run it at an average pace of 3:05/km - that's absolutetly fucking mental!
