FairGame is an unconventional competitive multiplayer game where you're participating in a ladder climbing race for quadratic equations which for some reason also involves growing grapes (I took the 'quadratic equation' part from a comment back on Reddit, but I don't remember what thread it belonged to). The game's rules are relatively simple but the interactions that arise from these rules can be quite varied. It's also divided into rounds that take days or weeks with only cosmetic attributes being retained across them, which helps it avoid the usual pitfalls of competitive multiplayer incrementals.

With a new season, (almost) everything has been reset. A new mechanic named Wine has been added, and if you want to know what that does you should just go to the game's site already. There's probably been a few more minor tweaks, but I wouldn't know what they are.

The game doesn't click with a lot of people (myself included), but if it clicks, it clicks. At the very least, it's worth a quick visit to view some of the mechanics left unexplored in the multiplayer space.
