Ironically Jones to help Rodgers look a lot better too. I'm not trying to say Rodgers was ever not great, but there were a few years he relied heavily on Jones

If you only watched the 2nd half, it seemed like Rodgers outplayed Darnold. I believe in the 2nd half both had one INT and Darnold had a number of bad throws.

I'd also put a lot of that on KOC not being able to properly adjust a game plan that likely relied heavily on Jones once he went down. I'd bet it left Darnold needing to improvise a lot with more pressure coming at him and more coverage on the receivers from the Jets knowing he was going to be passing more, leading to a lot of mistakes on forced passes to Jefferson.
