Moldovan police say criminals plotting to seize public buildings in election campaign
A top police official said on Friday that criminal groups with Russian backing were intent on disrupting Moldova's presidential election, including attempts to seize government buildings.
It must be very cheap for this stuff, because I’m sure with the war going on Russia doesn’t have a lot of funds floating around to spare.
I hope the west really beefed up everything to help Moldova, Georgia and others with this russian bullshit
Isn’t it convenient how just before an election, all these stories about ‘foreign interference’ and bribes suddenly surface? Almost feels like someone’s trying to distract the public from something bigger going on behind the scenes.
Well, sure. It's quite hard to interfere with an election when there's no election being held. Ergo, it's quite hard to investigate election interference until election interference is actually happening.
