Many of the women who support Trump are also devout Christians. They see Trump as sent by God as a protector and that he's surviving assassination attempts because he's shielded by God himself. They believe Trump is God's shield to protect women and Christians from the world. In many Christian homes, there's already a very clear gender hierarchy with men above women, and many Christian women grow up with it and accept it as God's design. They may also face significant pressure at home to accept Trump no matter his behavior.

Trump has also really ramped up the religious rhetoric about himself when speaking. He knows the dynamic by now. It's pretty wild.

so god let that one dude at the trump rally get domed? What's god's plan here?

Ok, but he's also the guy that women need protection from.

At a town hall event on Friday, Moreno bemoaned the fact that abortion has become the deciding issue for many suburban women, calling the notion “a little crazy, by the way, but especially for women that are like past 50. I’m thinking to myself, ‘I don’t really think that’s an issue for you.’”

The concept of empathy is completely foreign to these ppl.

Getting mansplained about how to take care of yourself by a convicted rapist, though, is perfectly okay with them.

Trump once told a story about seeing a man bleeding out in front of him after falling down. His first thought was that the blood ruins the beautiful marble floor. He's a sociopath.

The whole statement was wild. It was like some kind of surreal art on display, showing how a narcissist sees the world.

On a walk through the woods, would you rather encounter a strange man, a bear, or twice-impeached former president Donald J. Trump?

25

My personal hierarchy here would be:

  • Bear
  • Random man
  • Swarm of giant killer wasps that will chase your ass for miles if you piss one off
  • Dangling over an active volcano like a rotisserie chicken
  • Encountering trump anywhere

Although… if it’s -just- us, no handlers or secret service, I’m pretty sure I could easily fuck him up (and not in a way he’d enjoy). I may be a tiny disabled woman, but he’s a senile old fuck (what is he, almost 90?), who can’t even get his posture right, and those tiny hands are made for reaching into other’s pockets, not grappling. What hope does he have against a former wrestler and military vet, even a broken one?

I think it might be worse to encounter a twice-impeached former president who was found liable by a jury for sexual abuse.

Love how being a misogynist is meant to somehow attract female voters.

Honestly it probably works with the female voters that were considering voting for him anyway

They didn’t need convincing. Not really. There are exceedingly few real undecided people out there.

Right. It's about whether they will take the 20 minute plus detour to go to the polls or not.

Can we please stop with "Trump says" bullshit. We all know he's a dumb shit.

But he's a dumb shit who's running for president!

16

And he hasn't changed since the last two times, other than being worse. Everyone knows how he acts and nothing he says matters.

6

His past treatment of women, his extensive damage on the US Supreme Court, and his religiously misguided base that inspires the decisions he makes might all suggest otherwise.

11

The only way he's physically capable of protecting anybody from anything is by it getting stuck to his sticky gross skin and being unable to get away.

You reached the end
