It exists and is usually broken out into at least 2 kinds MandoPop for mainland china mandarin and CantoPop for Cantonese from Southern China
Had a bunch of buddies into Jay Chou but I think that falls in the 20 years ago category.

You have K-Pop, but Chinese pop doesn't exist. Chinese rap (crap) exists though.
Edit: joke. Korean pop- k-pop. Chinese rap - c-rap. I don't actually think Chinese rap is crap.
