First 1/3 gone and you get nostalgic and head to the holodeck:

"Blend of imported Scotch malts and finest Indian grain spirits" - I'm going to assume that whoever wants Scotland to rule the galaxy is not, in fact, a Scotsperson.

It says Scotland but I can't stop thinking about the episode of TNG where the Enterprise picks up a bunch of colonists and they turn the cargo bay into a barn. Really felt like the writers were brainstorming and someone said "what if the aliens in this one were just Irish people?"

I'm a Scot by ancestry, but I have a confession: I don't like whiskey. I do like bagpipes, has my whole life been a lie, please advise.

You are indeed, living a lie. You have spelled whisky like an American.

I am the Grand Poobah of the most cryptic brotherhood of Americans with "Mc" in their grandfather's last name. I like cheap tequila! You got me!

There are 8.5 million Scottish-Americans and 5.5 million Scottish.

We have taken a vote, it is now spelled whiskey.

Do you drink your whiskey straight or on the rocks? I hated whiskey straight up but on the rocks its a different creature. Drink quickly before the ice melts too much. Rinse, repeat twice and enjoy the buzz.

You reached the end
