The one time I played MTG, I used a loaner flying deck. It was 4 person pvp (I don't know the actual phrases that devoted players use) and I won. It was cool, but I credited it to the prebuilt deck that was handed to me, but I always said that if I do ever get into MTG, it's going to be a flying deck
I kind of chalked my win up to that too. I was the new guy in the group, so I had the advantage of none of the other players really wanting to target me. I may or may not have taken full advantage of that and let them wear each other out lol

Probably a commander game, one of the few modes with more than 2 players
