One of my earliest memories is watching this movie as a kid and being absolutely enthralled by Cameron Diaz.

I loved the film and it set me on the path of reading the original comics. Quite dark and violent but I loved them. It makes sense as to why the tone was changed for the film.
Man, they got Jim Carrey for a half million on this. That's a crazy good deal for New Line.
